What We Do
At A Better Life Guatemala, we work alongside rural and indigenous communities to create lasting change through three key areas:
Health: Access to medical, dental, optometry, and other essential health services.
Education: Supporting children, schools, families, and opportunities that strengthen communities.
Protection: Providing essential resources such as beds, food, clean water, and support for families in need.
Your support helps turn these programs into real opportunities for a better life.
Our Story
A Better Life Guatemala was founded with a simple belief: every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and access to essential resources.
What began by witnessing firsthand the needs of underserved Guatemalan families became a commitment to action.
Today, we work alongside local communities, volunteers, donors, and partners to create practical solutions and lasting opportunities for a better life.
Transforming Lives Through Health and Education
At A Better Life Guatemala, we believe that health and education are the foundation of lasting change. That’s why we invest in programs that care for both the body and the mind—reaching the most vulnerable with dignity, compassion, and opportunity.
Community Health
We bring free medical services to rural areas, including general consultations, dental care, vision screenings, psychological support, and medicine distribution. Each clinic is a step toward equity in healthcare access.
$ 15 One Patient’s Care.
Inclusive Education
We support children, youth, and families through tutoring, parenting workshops, school supply donations, scholarships, and our Sewing Training Center in San Felipe. Our goal: empower learning and economic independence.
$ 30 Help a Child Learn.
Social Protection and Support
We deliver bunk beds to children who sleep on the floor, provide clean water filters to communities, and distribute food bags to families facing hunger. Each act of care is a step toward dignity and stability.
$ 50 One Food Bag.
